Irene has done a lot in her life. She has sung her songs from Nashville to her long-time home in the low-country region of Beaufort, SC.
Along the way she was executive producer of the Spirit of Beaufort (a documentary about the movie Forrest Gump), she has produced and directed a full length film "Unsuspecting" (a psychological comedy thriller about dying in the low country). Musically, she sang with the "Hallelujah Singers" in the Movie Forrest Gump and still tours as Jenny. She has appeared in 2 other movies ("Forces of Nature" and "Stars Fell on Alabama"). She has toured in the Ukraine with Harold Moore (the Drifters) on a 'peace and love' mission, performing on stages with Ukraine and Russian bands. She has sang in pubs in Ireland, venues in Greece and France, including Paris, as well as the United States. She is a prolific song writer with seven albums (soon to be eight) of her original songs. She directed the Vagina Monologues in Nashville, TN with a cast of 16 women. She has worked with East Iris Studios in TN. She has recorded her original songs "Open Up Your Eyes" and "Let Us" in the home studio of Michael McDonald (Doobie Brothers). She is a mother of two and grandmother of four children. She was owner of "Beaufort Lands End Tours and Kayaking", "Sea Island Lady, Too" ladies dress shop in downtown Beaufort, and "Frogmore Frolics Art Gallery" on St. Helena Island. Ever-Performing and Writing music, she can currently be heard in and around Beaufort, SC venues.
